We're visiting Buenos Aires from December 15-29, and offering our Manhattan apartment for one in Buenos Aires. It's in Stuyvesant Town, a 15 minute walk from Union Square and 7 minute walk from the nearest subway stop. It's very well located and within a park-like neighborhood, without much noise from the street (http://www.stuytown.com/). It has a living room, a den, and 2 bedrooms. You can also choose to stay in our beach house in the town of East Hampton, on the East End of Long Island (it'll be winter, but it's beautiful there when it snows). Our daughter, who is currently studying in the UBA, is available to meet you in Buenos Aires before we make the exchange.
We are looking to swap for a comparable apartment in Recoleta preferably (or palermo)- open to exact location but want the experience of living like a local. Looking for about 6/7 days in January. Los Angeles is only a 45 min flight or a 4 hour drive away. Southern Utah, Zion and Bryce National Parks and the Grand Canyon are only a couple of hours drive as well.
Summerlin is a great area to stay in Las Vegas if you are looking for a little more outdoor adventure than the strip as well as a nice, very quiet bungalow-style condominium where you can really relax.
Many parks and walking/jogging/biking Trails, Golf, Tennis.... Quiet!
Super Markets very close as well as much shopping and many restaurants.
We want to come to Buenos Aires and would love our own place to stay and relax much like what we have here in Las Vegas.
We are artistic types in our early 30's.
We love being creative, have a passion for music, arts, the bohemian life, languages, cultures and peoples of the world as well as good wine, coffee, vegetarian/healthy cooking and try to lead natural fit lifestyles.
The best times to come to Vegas - in our opinions - are Sept/Oct/Nov, April/May/June - basically Fall and spring. This last June was absolutely beautiful and so far October has been dream weather.
We are looking for anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months and are planning ahead so next year this time would probably work out great. Let us know what your plans are so we can try to coordinate something and start understanding each others' wishes.

- we need to be in New York for at least six weeks but really are hoping to make it about eight weeks and have some flexibility on the dates (mid-January to mid-March would be ideal) ... we need to return to Buenos Aires by the end of March at the latest
- we are a family of four (two children ages 2 and 6) and need at least a good-sized one bedroom though obviously a two bedroom would be better
- our place in Buenos Aires is a three to four bedroom with very high ceilings (23 feet?), two bathrooms, a roof terrace, and three cats,
- it is located just south of downtown of Buenos Aires, on the borderline between the neighborhoods of Montserrat and Constitucion, with great transportation to anywhere in the city
- it has a very good internet connection and we will have someone come to clean the apartment twice a week,
- we can live anywhere in NYC but really need to be near a subway station
