The area: almagro it’s the central point of Buenos aires, near to every where, lot of transportation. Theres a subway station (Line A castro Barros) two blocks from the house , another 5 block away and plenty of buses. Its just 10 min from plaza de mayo.

We are Martin, an Argentine artist (34), Dirk, an Australian engineer (28), and Martin's daughter Irene (3 and a half). We like to eat, go out, and play music together. The barrio is unique and beautiful, designed in the 1920s as a socialist project with the intent that people would mix together in the shared spaces. It has a fountain, a little football field and several gated entrances, and a family atmosphere so it's quiet at night time. Buenos Aires can be quite stressful, especially in Recoleta or the center, where streets are narrow and things are hectic, so it's nice to come home to Chacarita and sit out on the balcony reading a book and chatting. El barrio es unico y lindo, diseñado en los 1920 como proyecto socialisto con la idea de que la jente se junte en los espacios compartidos. Cuenta con un fuente, una canchita de futbol y varias entradas cerradas con llave, y tiene un ambiente familiar asi que esta muy tranquilo por la noche. Buenos Aires es una ciudad grande y ocupada, especialmente en Recoleta y micro-centro, donde las calles son estrechas y la gente anda rapida, entonces es muy lindo volver a Chacarita por la tarde y sentarse en el balcon leyendo un libro y charlando. The barrio is one block from the corner of Dorrego and Corrientes, where there is a subway stop on the D line, that will bring you into town, a train that stops in Palermo and goes to the main train and bus station in Retiro, and several bus lines that go all over the city. There are supermarkets, bakeries, little bars, internet cafes and several restaurants in the neighbourhood, and it's a 15 minute walk to Palermo Hollywood where there are a lot of upmarket bars, restaurants and clubs.

In addition to the cool roommate, the best thing about this place is the location. I walked around this gorgeous upscale neighborhood for a year thinking "wow, if only I could live here..." and now you can! The apartment is at Sanchez de Bustamante and Juncal, three blocks from the D line and countless buses. You've got markets, adorable little cafes, LOTS of trees, restaurants, take out places, everything.

And it's a safe neighborhood, which is becoming more and more important these days. Also, the owner is a friend of mine who I know I can count on to be fair and reasonable, so there are no concerns about raising the rent every three months or suddenly remodeling and charging insane prices. After living in 5 different apartments, that kind of stability is really important to me.

This is a newly restored apartment in grandiose building in the beautiful barrio of San Telmo. The apartment retains all the period features, moldings, high ceilings, wooden floors in the rooms, tilled in the lobby, hallways and kitchen and bathroom.

There are 3 double bedrooms. The rooms are all spacious and full of natural light entering through tall balcony windows/doors. The apartment has been decorated tastefully and with a personal touch, with a mix of classical decorative and modern design. The kitchen is fully equipped, bed sheets and towels provided, and wi-fi connection throughout.

2 Rooms are available, in the 3er room is living a girl from Sweden, she speaks SPANISH very well, she was living in Spain for one year!
